Surf photographer, John Respondek announces the launch of ‘Dion. By Respondek’, part one in his series of independent photography essays. This 120-page compilation of high-impact moments features the unique style and energetic flair of surfer, Dion Agius, bound together in a pastel pink colour theme. Handpicked from Respondek’s personal archives in surf photography, the book showcases a rare insight into the world of Dion and his adventures to unique locations in Israel, Panama, Indonesia and Australia. Respondek’s photography is complemented with glimpses into the psyche of this eccentric surfer, peppered with commentary and musings from Dion himself. Dion says “This book is such a ‘moment piece’ for me. It covers the last five years of my life and it just so happens I was travelling with one of my best friends, who is also a rad photographer. We’ve had some good times along the way”.
